Last call for summer portraits!

Last call? It’s the first week of July! Sadly, yes! We only have one session opening left in July and only a few in the first weeks of August.

Why summer portraits? Why not! Summer is a fabulous time of year for portrait sessions, especially with school-age children! You can schedule during the week while they are home, you don’t have to fight around soccer games and open houses and holiday events and all the other things that keep us running around like crazy once school starts, and best of all, everyone has a nice summer color, and most importantly, a nice and relaxed summer attitude! Summer is such a fun time of year, those lazy days, the backyard games, why not capture some of those memories?

But it’s so hot? Yes, it’s hot.. but in the fall it will be cold! Texas weather is so unpredictable, if you wait around for the perfect temperature for portraits, you will be getting photographs of your grandchildren’s grandchildren! Besides, we can start super early (yes, I do 8am sessions!) or super late (yes! I love sunset sessions!) to avoid the middle of the day heat.  And what’s more fun than ending your session with a dip in the pool or run through a fountain?

But I wanted Christmas cards? No problem! Lots of my clients (especially the ones who have been around long enough to know how crazy the fall gets!) schedule sessions earlier in the year and order cards from those pictures. We can order cards from any session done in this calendar year, and you don’t even have to order them now. Just let us know when you are ready and we’ll repost your gallery and give you all the details about our fun and fabulous custom cards, even walk you through the design process! (Did I mention we have some FABULOUS new cards this year?!)

Out of excuses? Hooray! Shoot us an email or phone call and let’s work some magic with those little beach bums of yours!  Holding out for the fall? No problem! Fall booking (any dates after August 20th) opens up at 9am on August 15th. We have some really fun stuff planned, can’t wait to share it all with you!
