Last weekend kicked off with Friday’s day in the life session for a very special little girl. Sweet Nicole is more than a polite, adorable, bright little girl. She’s also a published author and budding philanthropist! That’s a lot to accomplish in just ten short years, and yet somehow she’s doing it all.. with style!
Nicole’s book, Cinnamon’s Tale, was written last year as part of a young author’s contest her third grade class participated in. It went on to win the school-wide contest, then district, and ultimately the honor of being published! As if that weren’t amazing enough, Nicole wanted to share her reward by giving back, and has chosen to have all of the profits from her book go towards a fund she’s established for the teachers at her school, Pantego Christian Academy. Brilliant and generous, too… can you imagine how proud her parents must be?
Answer? Very. Though just a few minutes with this loving, faithful family and you’ll see, the apple didn’t fall very far from their sweet trees! They were truly a pleasure to spend the day with, and I was honored to have been a tiny part of this amazing day in their family history. I photographed so many amazing moments throughout the day, but here’s just a tiny glimpse… partly to share the joy and partly to keep mom’s curiosity at bay!

Whew! It was quite a whirlwind day, and that was only until lunch! I can’t wait to see what this smart cookie comes up with next!
