Visions of sugarplums

Wishing you & yours visions of whatever makes your heart warm and your toes smile.. and dreams as sweet as this little guy’s milk-induced euphoria!

My family and I are heading out for a much-needed vacation tomorrow morning and we will be closed for business until the first of the year.  Many exciting new things coming in Janaury, but for now, some R&R with my favorite people in the world.  Feel free to call or email during the time off, we will check them frequently and return sporadically as needed.  Thanks so much to everyone for making 2009 our best year ever, and we look forward to an even better 2010!

Tis the season

for newborns!  We are seeing quite the boom of fresh little December babies, with two just this week and two more on the books for this week…so much for the end of the busy season! But with sweet little faces like these, who could resist?

Both of these baby girls have big brothers who I also saw as newborns, so it was doubly fun to see them all grown up!

Not much time for eloquent words today.. still have about a million tiny details left to wrap up for holiday orders and I should probably shower at some point… but I don’t want to wash the sweet baby smell off my hands! :)

It’s a bird, it’s a plane…

it’s Super Connor!

This sweet baby boy is all grown up, not just into a big boy.. but a superhero!  His mom (who is a bit of a superhero herself!) was smart enough to schedule their portrait session right before his birthday party.. everyone was already dressed, the house was clean, and they were all in super happy party mode!  Even better.. Connor got to show off his AMAZING! FEATS! :)

Of course, every good superhero has a heroine by his side, and big sister Avery was ready to step in at any moment and save the day! These two are so close, so sweet together.. must be some sort of super special magnetic force field connecting them!

And the day wasn’t complete until our little superhero had assembled his legion of allies, a whole gaggle of sweet boys (many of whom are no stranger to my lens!) who were ready to tackle the evil Mr. Donovan and save Dallas from his cryptonite! (Actually, Mr. Donovan is a supercool guy himself, teaching little tykes like these sports skills and fitness classes in the Dallas area during the week and occasionally working parties like this one, where he led the gang  in a series of “Superhero Training Routines!”)

I’m not sure if I was the good guy or the bad guy, but I know these SUPER pictures are some of my favorites all fall!  :)
