So excited to finally post some sneak peeks from the photobooth minis last weekend.. what fun! Even though the wind tried to blow away our plans, we managed to pull out some amazing pictures.. and so fast & easy! I have a feeling these are going to be added to the regular roatation of mini sessions! Just a few of the many MANY fabu images!!
It never ceases to amaze me how these sweet little chubby cheeked babies grow into giggling bouncing children in the blink of an eye. Or shutter, as the case may be.
Last weekend I got to revist some little ones I’ve been watching grow for the last few years.. it warms my heart to see them growing up!
Not that I’m one to play favorites, but if I did this sweet girl would be at the top of the list! Not just because we share the same name, but because she’s become such a little muse of mine. So comfortable and natural in front of the camera, even as a toddler she was always guaranteed to give me some of my favorite images of the year! Add to that a mom who brings me the most fabulous outfits to work with (would you believe she placed each of these rhinestones BY HAND on this entire outfit?! Beyond impressive!)
And then, in the same day, I met this darling doe-eyed baby, whose big brother and sister have been filling my website galleries since they were the same sweet age! It was all I could do to not just sneak her in my bag and take her home with me!
And yet, as many amazing pictures as we came up with, sometimes my favorites are the perfectly *imperfect* ones! Big brother just couldn’t hold back the love!
I’m ignoring the rain that’s pouring outside around me and remembering happier, sunnier days… like last weekend?! A few more peeks from the FW Botanic Gardens minis to share.. so fun! Speaking of mini sessions.. we have our super cool photobooth minis this Saturday and we have ONE space left and available for the first person to reply! Good luck!!
Wow, what a week! The skies finally parted and the rain cleared.. which means we have been shooting like crazy to make up all the missed rain sessions! We also just wrapped up an incredibly fun & successful round of mini sessions at the Ft Worth Botanic Gardens, I am so excited about all of the gorgeous images sitting in my hard drive, just waiting to be edited! For now, though, a slight teaser.. round one of sneak peeks.. more to come later this week!

Are you singing it yet? Been stuck in my head all night… yes, it’s a late late night, which means I have hit that stretch of the holiday season where I’m burning the midnight oils trying to keep up, and just looking at my calendar makes me start to develop a bit of a stress twitch… BUT… that said… I still absolutely *adore* this time of year!
Why, you ask? This is the time of year I get to see all my favorite little people again! Those little faces I look forward to seeing all year long… who get to show off missing teeth and new haircuts and shocking inches of growth.. hooray for the return of old friends!
And of course for new favorites to add to my jumping gallery!

We are so excited to announce the grand opening celebration of Kidcore Toys this weekend!
The fabulous little neighborhood toy store Arlington has known & loved is all settled in at their new location in the Arlington Highlands and we’re busily covering the walls with a select few prints by Ann Beck Photography! We’ve also got a digital slide show running in the store, with some of our favorite little faces to keep Kidcore shoppers smiling all day long! Both displays will be updated frequently, so be sure and check back often to see what new friends we are showcasing!

I read this quote this morning and thought it deserved to be repeated. After the chaotic week month we’ve had at our house, I could really use the reminder myself. Here’s to hoping you have more minutes of happiness in each day!

Oh, all the delicious images we’ve been pouring over… I couldn’t decide which one to pick!
This was one I didn’t have to think about much, it was one of these pictures I knew was magic as soon as I clicked the shutter. This little guy and his brother brought their tiny metal toy planes along for pictures.. partially because of their classic look and little boy essence, and partially as a stranger-ice breaking-security blanket. Either way, perfection! This was one of the first images from the session, as we were still getting to know each other and he was much more interested in his own world than mine, and I was just lucky enough to capture this moment.. one little glimpse that completely defines the classic little boy childhood.
