We have been so busy this fall, I am just busting with sneak peeks I can’t wait to share! But these were too good to resist.. I’m posting these both for these little guys’ mommy and for a certain blog follower I know will appreciate these wrinkly faces and drooling smiles…
Have you ever seen a sweeter smile than this?
Brace yourselves…. fall starts tomorrow! That means changing leaves, pumpkins and turkeys, soccer and football games, and (allegedly!) cooler temperatures. Hooray! That also means the calendar here at Ann Beck Photography gets C.R.A.Z.Y. busy!! We are already madly photographing families for holiday cards and gifts, and are so excited to see all of our old familiar faces return, and to meet all of the new friends waiting in the wings!
Quick update on said calendar… we only have FIVE weekend sessions available between now and the November 23 shooting deadline. Five!! That means those of you who have us on your list to call but haven’t gotten around to it… need to get around to it!! Our mini sessions are also filling quickly.. we do still have a few openings each day but very few times with room for double minis (for families or more than 2 kids). Again… please call us soon so you don’t miss the fun!
Finally.. a quick sneak peek for a family who is on top of the game, and had a *fabulous* session yesterday! Can’t wait to share the rest!!
Last weekend was to be our first weekend of holiday mini sessions.. but as I’ve mentioned below, it rained a little. Not sure if you noticed.. or if I mentioned it already.. but IT RAINED A LOT. Dare I mention the fact that, six days later, IT’S STILL RAINING!?!?
I digress.
We obviously didn’t get all of the minis in, so we’re scrambling to make those up over the next two weeks. ASSUMING IT STOPS RAINING. But, we were lucky enough to sneak in all the Friday sessions during a break in the clouds, and the results were so fabulous, it only makes me more anxious to get everyone else in!
Just a few peeks…can’t wait to show off the rest!
First up.. a gorgeous BLONDE family… such pretty hair on every one of them, my mousy brown haired girlies are so jealous! I just loved the relationship between the kiddos, silly one second and sweet the next, but always so polite and well behaved.. not sure what mommy’s mixing in their kool-aid but I think I want to borrow some!
This was the first time I’ve met this baby girl, the newest member to a family I’ve been photographing for years, so I was confident she would be a happy, smiley (adorable!) baby like her big brothers… and she did not disappoint!
This set… I couldn’t decide which picture I liked best.. the lost little girl.. the giggle.. or the sweet smile at the end. But together, they are just magical!

Last weekend was the first full weekend of holiday sessions… packed to the gills, every available slot booked up solid with smart families who planned ahead to get their holiday portraits taken care of early this year.
And then it rained.
And rained.
And did I mention the rain?
So it became a weekend full of a different kind of busy. Instead of mini sessions, there were movie marathons. Instead of proofing appointments, there were football games and chips & queso with cousins. And instead of portraits, there were puddles.
Lots of puddles.
Did I mention it rained?
It was a nice, albeit brief, respite from the madness… but I am ready to get back to work! Here’s to sunny skies again!
…a loud noise, any noise!
A sneak peek for one of my favorite families, whose company I always enjoy. They are good at so many things..especially rejoicing in their blessings and their love for each other.
The singing?
Notsomuch.
But they do it with a happy heart, and that in itself brings joy to my soul.
Am I the only one who blinked and missed this week? Anyway.. Happy Wednesday! Hope everyone is finally getting back into the swing of things and gearing up for all sorts of fall fun around the corner. We are gearing up for what looks to be our busiest holiday season yet… I am so blessed/excited/thankful/happy!!
Just a few quick family pictures for you, one of my sweet girlfriends and her little brood… each one with a bigger personality than the next! Love these kids.. love this family… can you feel the love?!!
First of all, kudos to those of you who have been calling for the last week.. thanks for being so on the ball! If you haven’t booked your fall session yet, an update: our fall calendar is, as of this morning, 50% full. That means three solid months to go and the pickings are already getting slim! We have about 10 weekend sessions open, a few more during the week. Our minis are a little over 50% full, especially the Saturday dates.
Bottom line…if you want a session this year, please call us soon!
Speaking of mini sessions, our Turtle Creek minis are next week and I am so excited! It’s a great location and we have a few spots on both Friday and Saturday if you want to squeeze it in, get the holiday pictures crossed off your list early this year before things get really crazy! And just because I love my bloggers so much… I’m giving away two Friday minis to the first to people to email me today! (ann@annbeckphotography.com) Keep in mind the spaces are limited, but if you’re willing to work around the other sessions, I’m willing to work you in!
