I am thankful

For friends, for family… and especially for incredibly patient clients during this busy season, who have all been so understanding when I had to take an unexpected trip out of town to attend my grandmother’s funeral. Your kind words, pep talks and prayers have all been appreciated. And I promise to return the favor by working double time to catch up when I return next week!

The. Most. Photographed. Baby. Ever.

At least that’s my goal… and he isn’t even born yet! :) My BFF is getting BIG with her first BOY so I’ve been stalking her for some PICs! (Ok that last one didnt really work, but I almost had it!)

This is our third go round on belly pics, which I normally do NOT shoot so it’s been good practice.. at least that’s my excuse for forcing her to model for me every 12 weeks! But really… as good as she looks… can you blame me?

Only three more months to go… then the baby paparazzi in me will let loose for real!

Favorites

Is it possible to say every session is my favorite? That’s how I usually end up feeling.. I can’t help but love them all! I think it’s like children… you love them all infinitely yet equally… they are ALL your favorites!

This session was certainly no exception… this little dynamo was so spunky and fun, she reminded me very much of the baby in our home.. not a baby (and don’t you dare hint it!) but still so toddler-esque in her voice and actions… yet just starting to pick up those adult expressions and mannerisms.. the lovely paradox that is the preschool age.. and exactly what makes it so impossibly adorable!

Enough chat.. some of my favorites…

and finally… my new competition!

Oh, those little faces…

These two girls are some of the most expressive I have ever had… I don’t think I got one straight smile out of either one… but who cares when i can get faces like these instead?

Mom and I both agreed we loved the black & white images best this year… a far cry from the bold colors of last year! Either way, a totally fun session!

Happy Monday!

Mini Mania!

Sorry for the delay in blog posting… I’m still coming out from under the madness that was our last mini session day! 11 sessions and two diet cokes later… I think Erin and I both are still recovering! The good news is we’ve got some GREAT images to share… once I can get them all processed and up!

For now, a few sneak peeks for you, my oh so patient clients… more to come, I promise!

Boo!

Hope you all had a happy Halloween! Our house was one big sugar rush last night, but by 9pm when we all crashed it was worth it… two weeks of costume construction for one crazy night, how could you not love that? :)

So happy Halloween from my Dora, Boots, and Grumpy old Troll. (if you watch Dora, you get it, if you don’t.. you don’t. But that’s ok… the girls got it and they tickled themselves pink over it!) :)
