hello

Ann Beck Photography from Caroline Quinn on Vimeo.

Nice to meet you! It’s no secret I love my job, and I think it’s what I was born to do! For me, it’s not about creating beautiful images, but rather capturing beautiful memories.. and to be able to give that gift to moms like me (okay, and dads too!) is an honor I don’t take lightly.

I live in the Arlington area with my husband and three daughters, and when I’m not photographing fabulous families you can find me shuttling them from practices to classes and back again, cheering on our high school sports teams (and their cute coach… my hubby!) and downing diet cokes to keep up with it all!

I’m honored to be one of the marketing photographers for Cook Children’s Medical Center, and have been thrilled to help them create calendars, magazines, ads, and everything in between! I also shoot editorials for West FW Lifestyle Magazine, a role that has landed me in a pool with pups, roaming the FW Science & History Museum after hours, and meeting some really amazing people!  One of the greatest things about my job is that it is always something different and fun, and I never know what to expect!

One venture I am most proud of is a photoessay I began nearly five years ago with one of my best friends following her breast cancer battle (and win!). I Fight Like a Girl is a project involving interviews and portraits of survivors from all walks of life, each with a very different take on the fight but each with that same heroic courage. We have been lucky to have profiled over 100 breast cancer survivors, and hope to meet and interview many more! Please check it out, and contact me if you or someone you know might be interested in participating in a future shoot!

Speaking of ads, I’m proud to present my very own commercial, starring my then-5yr old daughter.. written and directed by my then-9yr old (whose slightly bossy voice can be heard in the background). I don’t know how many clients it has earned me but it certainly makes me giggle!
